We're growing for the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the ARK of Chicago. Many food banks rely on community support for fresh food!  

Volunteers needed to help grow food.   

Experienced and beginning gardeners of all ages and abilities! Volunteers 18+ on their own, volunteers 12+ welcome with parental supervision.

We are developing our Spring and Summer schedule now.

Help with:                                                                                                                                                                       

Planting, weeding, harvesting, washing produce, bed maintenance and beautification. Also help with animal care and planting fruit & nut trees. 

Want to help the project in other ways?                  

Needed:

• Monetary donations

• Materials: tools, machinery, compost, work gloves, etc.

• Help with outreach, grant-writing, and media.

• Skilled builders, carpenters, landscapers, electricians, etc.
